Finally better weather! We’re traveling back at 11 knots, making up some time after the last few days. All the crew agree they’ve never had such consistently heavy seas all the way from Ushuaia. This has been unusual indeed.
As much as I’ve enjoyed the heavy seas, it is nice not to constantly be flung from one wall into another. We’re exceptionally good at cards now. Passengers are beginning to emerge that we haven’t seen for days. We might just be able to get some sort of footage today!
We’re 60 degrees south - officially in Antarctic waters!
Trying to get a GPS signal in stormy seas in our favourite corner. Pic thanks to Zoe Brocklehurst
Ice anyone?
Pierre happy to be able to film again. he was getting quite antsy.
